Saturday, February 21, 2009- Barrel Sampling Event
10:00 am until 4:00 pm, no reservations required.This is a great opportunity to taste the 2007 wines still in the barrel. With wine thieves in hand, we bring out barrels of our favorites wines for the year for you to sample right from the barrel!
Saturday, May 2nd, 2009- Open House
10:00 am until 4:00 pm. No reservations required.
This is the one time of year when we go into our library to discover how the older vintages are aging. Every year, we set aside a limited amount of each wine we bottle and put it into our library. In April, we sneak back into the library and decide what is tasting really great and share it with you. Not only do we try to pour as many of these older vintages as possible, but we release some of them for sale. Open House is your chance to fill up your wine library with some of our great older vintages or re-stock your cellar with some of your Vincent Arroyo favorites.
Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd, 2009- Winemaker Dinner
Reservations required.
The Winemaker Dinner is one of our most popular events each year. We entertain 140 people each night in a tent set up next to the winery. The dinner is a three course meal catered by Knickerbockers of St. Helena, California that we have used for many years. Dinner begins at 6:00 pm at the winery. We begin taking reservations on January, 2nd 2009. Space is very limited and we are often fully booked within a week of opening up reservations. The cost is $125 per person.
Saturday, August 22th, 2009 - Arroyo Golf Open
Our newest annual event! You don't even have to be a serious golfer to participate! We have a unique challenge at every hole and offer great prizes for all the winners. We will be taking reservations in May. Please watch the website (vincentarroyo.com) for updates.
Saturday to be determined in October- Amigos Harvest Party
Every year, we also host a harvest event for about 80 people. Called Amigos de Arroyo, participants are selected through a lottery drawing. If you are interested, please let us know when you confirm your Standing Order and we would happily put your name in our hat. Participants will be chosen at random in June/July and invitations will go out confirming the date in August.
